Little Nipsey had a rough battle and we received worse news. The orthopedic doctor that he was referred to is certain that he has osteogenesis imperfecta based on his scans/test results. This is a very painful and life long genetic disorder for which there is no cure. His bones are literally breaking constantly. I am keeping him comfortable, and will be ending his suffering in the morning.

Nipsey is only 7 weeks old, but he has already been through more than most kittens ever should. He has been in foster care since he was just ONE day old alongside his three siblings after they were born under someone’s porch to a feral mama cat.

Their mom fought hard to survive after suffering a severe infection caused by a deceased kitten trapped inside of her. Despite everything, these babies made it to safety.

Now sweet Nipsey is facing a heartbreaking battle of his own. He has multiple broken bones in his legs, a broken pelvis, and issues with his hip sockets. He will soon be going in for an orthopedic consultation to determine the next steps for treatment and what kind of care he will need moving forward.

Unfortunately, this will likely be a very expensive medical journey. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward Nipsey’s veterinary care and give this tiny fighter the chance at a pain-free life.
